David Jones, Sr. was the Executive Chef at two of the finest restaurants in the region for over 20 years before opening his own restaurants in the tri-state area. Today, he and his wife own The "New" Lohr`s Family Restaurant and Catering Service. The Jones` are committed to high quality and satisfaction for all foods that come from their kitchen. Catered meals are prepared in the restaurant kitchen and then transported to your event in Thermal Carriers that insure proper serving temperature and safety.

Growing up in the Restaurant and Catering business in North Carolina has given David an exceptional ability to plan menus designed specifically for the individual client`s event. He uses beautiful, fresh foods that are prepared and displayed using imagination and care that only extensive experience in the industry can provide. We take pride in knowing that every job is handled professionally from start to finish.

Our Culinary and Events staff can help you plan your next event from start to finish, whether it be offsite for up to 125 people or for hundreds at our Frederick event facility. We can provide all of the food, drinks, tables, tents, flowers, etc. that are needed. The staff that will attend to the needs of your event is properly trained and will arrive dressed appropriately for the occasion.

Allow Lohr`s Family Restaurant and Catering Service to provide you with a personalized party, reception, family gathering, or meal at your next business meeting or training event (breakfast, lunch or dinner). We can accommodate a group of 40 in our private banquet room at the restaurant or bring a party of any size to the location of your choice.
